Why I can’t keep my relationship private — Blessing CEO
Self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, aka Blessing CEO, has shed light on her decision to make her relationship public, even though she usually advises others to keep theirs private.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, she said, “In the over 15 years since my divorce, I have dated other men and kept them private. The reason I publicise my relationship with IVD is because of the scandal that surrounded him in the past. We have been private but they didn’t let us be. I don’t like to hide and if I keep it too private, it will seem like I am hiding him because he did something bad. I want people to see how sweet he is, because many only know of the bad narrative out there.”
Addressing her previous advice to fashion designer and influencer, Veekee James, to keep her relationship private, the controversial social media personality said, “The reason I advised Veekee James and others to keep their relationships private was not out of hate. I started by actually asking what her husband did. I made that video out of respect. I am not posting my man to make anyone feel bad.”

Blessing CEO also noted that she had learnt some lessons from her past marriage that she was now consciously working on. She emphasised the importance of effective communication and vulnerability, saying they were both intentional about nurturing their relationship.
She also expressed her desire to expand her family with IVD, stating, “I didn’t want to have more kids in the past but now, I want more children. Most of the things I thought I would never do, he makes me do them effortlessly.”
