“VDM Turns Around and Demands Youths Protest Because The Police, Army, And President Tinubu Are Scared”
The discussion surrounding the plans of some Nigerian youths to go on a 10-day stray strike in response to the country’s hardships is still relevant.
Social media activist Martins Otse Vincentm, also known by his handle VeryDarkMan, has added to the growing protest by pointing out that military troops have been brought into Lagos in an attempt to intimidate the youths from protesting.
He also noted that the army, police, and even the president of the federation are afraid of the potential consequences of the said protest.
Remember, there are rumors circulating that certain young people in Nigeria intend to stage a 10-day demonstration from August 1 to August 10 in order to voice their discontent with the present struggles the people of the nation are undergoing. VDM adds his two cents to the protest, stating that it has to stay.
VDM, who had before opposed the demonstration, has changed his mind. On Instagram, he shared a video he observed of several military troops being escorted around Lagos.
He stated that the goal of this is to make young people in Nigeria fearful and discourage them from participating in protests. The authorities, notably President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, are afraid of the youngsters and the potential consequences of the protests, according to VDM.
He said that, given the increase in the cost of necessities in the marketplace, youths’ futures are no longer certain and that they should utilize their right to protest.
Although VDM might be in favor of the protest, a number of well-known Nigerians have spoken out against it, warning young people not to follow in End Sars’ footsteps.

Actress Tonto Dikeh has expressed her opinion about the planned August 1–10 protest by young people in Nigeria.
The actress remarked that she knew that protesting was everyone’s right and that she was not trying to stop anyone from doing so. She expressed sympathy for everyone struggling in the poor economy, but she also pointed out that there were other approaches to solving the problem.
