Petrol marketer promises fair pricing, unveils two retail outlets
SGR has reaffirmed its commitment to boosting petroleum supply in the country just as it unveiled two additional fuel stations along the Shagamu-Ore Expressway.
In a statement signed by the Company’s General Manager, Samuel Oyekanmi, and made available to PUNCH Online on Thursday, the firm said the two additional fuel stations bring the total number of new stations on the route to four within two weeks.
The company, a licensed marketer for Dangote Petroleum Refinery, is retailing fuel at ₦878 per litre.

“The pricing reflects SGR’s commitment to delivering fair value while ensuring uninterrupted supply for motorists and transporters navigating one of Nigeria’s busiest highway corridors,” the statement read
He noted that the latest stations were launched during a brief inauguration event attended by the company’s General Manager and its Branch Managers, Oladele Giwa and Musa Owolabi, saying that their presence underscored SGR’s mission to become a dependable fueling partner across key transit routes in the country.

“These new stations are an extension of our promise to be where Nigerians need us most.
“Shagamu-Ore is a vital route, and we’re making sure people have access to quality fuel, seamless service, and transparent pricing,” the statement read.
According to him, SGR’s rapid expansion reflects a deliberate strategy to target high-traffic, underserved areas with top-tier infrastructure, trained personnel, and consumer-aligned pricing.
“The company’s growing presence reinforces its role as a major player in Nigeria’s downstream sector, with the backing of direct refinery access through Dangote Petroleum and a solid logistics network.
“With four new stations operational within a fortnight, SGR is not only expanding its physical footprint but also reinforcing its brand promise of reliability, accessibility, and service excellence for all road users,” the statement added.
