Kaduna appoints new head of service, pension bureau chief
The Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has made significant appointments aimed at reinvigorating the state’s civil service and enhancing effective service delivery.
The appointments include Jummai Bako as the new Head of Service, Ibrahim Balarabe as the Executive Secretary of the Kaduna State Pension Bureau, and CP Ali D. Audu (retd.) as the new Commander of the Kaduna State Vigilance Service.
This was revealed by the governor’s chief press secretary, Ibraheem Musa, in a statement on Friday.
“The governor has charged the new appointees to approach their assignments with renewed vigour, total commitment, deep sense of humility, fairness, and integrity,” the statement added.
The governor expects the appointees to deploy their vast experiences and knowledge to deliver on their institutional mandates.
Jummai Bako, the new Head of Service, is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria with vast experience in public service.
She has served as Director of Budget and Director of Monitoring and Evaluation in the Ministry of Planning and Budget Commission.
Her appointment is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Office of the Head of Service.
Ibrahim Balarabe is a seasoned administrator with over 31 years of corporate and public service experience.
He has spent 18 years in the new Contributory Pension Scheme, making him an expert in pension administration. His appointment is expected to bring stability and efficiency to the Pension Bureau.
Ali D. Audu is a retired Commissioner of Police with extensive experience in professional policing and tactical training.
He has served in various capacities, including Commissioner of Police in Kaduna State (2023 – 2024), Commissioner of Police, Border Patrol, Force Headquarters, Abuja, Commissioner of Police, Police Mobile Force, Force Headquarters, Abuja, and Commandant, Police Mobile Force Training College, Ende Hills, Nasarawa, and has attended professional courses on strategic training command and advanced human rights observance.
He replaces Brigadier General Umar Ibrahim (retd.)
Meanwhile, the governor has charged the new appointees to approach their assignments with renewed vigour, total commitment, a deep sense of humility, fairness, and integrity.
“He expects them to deploy their vast experiences and knowledge to deliver on their institutional mandates. The Governor wishes them God’s guidance in their new assignments,” the statement added.
