HON. KOLAWOLE BABATUNDE RECEIVES CAMPAIGN MATERIALS FROM ABUJA-BASED BUSINESSMAN, DRUMS SUPPORT FOR GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA
The immediate past Special Adviser to the Governor of Ondo State on Rural and Community Development and a former Member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Kolawole Babatunde (the Amaechi of Ondo State) earlier today received branded shirts and beret caps from an Abuja-based businessman who hails from Isua-Akoko in Akoko South East Local Government, Mr. Olusegun Daniel Adurogboye in support of the election bid of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. The official presentation was done in the private office of Hon. Kolawole Babatunde in the Alagbaka area of Akure.
Mr. Adurogboye while handing over the customized campaign items appreciated the significant impacts of Hon. Kolawole Babatunde on the lives of the people particularly in the area of empowerments and human capital development in and out of government. He added that being a major beneficiary of the benevolence of the Ifira-Akoko born former Federal Legislator he decided to make his little contributions to complement the efforts of Hon. Kolawole Babatunde in mobilizing grassroots support for the Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, ahead of the November 16 Governorship elections. Mr. Adurogboye promised to deliver more of the campaign items in due course and charged the people of Akoko South East in particular to vote massively for Governor Aiyedatiwa in the forthcoming governorship elections.
The former two-time Cabinet Member in Ondo State thanked Mr. Olusegun Daniel Adurogboye for the handsome donations and reiterated his unyielding commitment to ensuring that greater number of the younger generations have a better life. Hon. Kolawole Babatunde lauded Governor Aiyedatiwa for building on the legacies of former Governor Akeredolu in the areas of road infrastructure, functional healthcare delivery, provision of adequate security for the lives and property of the people of the state, upgrading of educational facilities, recruitment of teachers and other categories of workers, amongst others.
Hon. Kolawole Babatunde urged the people of Ondo State to expect more developmental milestones like the flyover bridge at Onyearugbulem Junction in Akure when the Governor is re-elected for another four-year mandate.
