Notorious Terrorist, Bello Turji replies Federal Govt in new audacious fearless viral video
Bello Turji, a notorious bandit leader, has asserted that neither he nor his associates fear death.
Turji claimed that if they were afraid of dying, they would not be taking up arms.
He made these statements in a recent video where he also issued a threat to the government for deploying Service Chiefs to Sokoto State to combat his group.
In the video circulating online, Turji said: “If they were afraid of dying, we wouldn’t have taken up arms in the first place, stop sending Service Chiefs after us.”
Recently, videos emerged online showing Turji and his group celebrating after allegedly capturing two Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAPs) from the Nigerian Army.
However, the Nigerian Defence Headquarters (DHQ) refuted Turji’s claim, stating that the MRAPs were not seized but were instead rendered inoperative when troops could not retrieve them from swampy terrain during anti-bandit operations in Zamfara State.
On Tuesday, the Minister of Defence, Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Musa, and other senior military officials arrived in Sokoto State, signaling their commitment to launching a decisive military offensive against Turji and other bandits troubling the North West region.
